      As part of the Leadership team, I assisted the Program Director and Principal Investigator with the strategic planning of the College & Career program, staff management & training, design & implementation of the Parent Leadership program serving students and parents in the Oakland Unified School District.       Utilizing Global Business Administration skills and using a multi-faceted collaborative approach, I assist leading the development of a robust strategic planning, identifying new programs, engaging the community, linking partners and programs with a diverse group of students and residents participating in the Hayward Promise Neighborhood Initiative (HPN). My primary role is ensuring and maintaining the integrity of the grant by identifying and expanding opportunities of collaboration to develop and expand support systems for HPN members while strengthening community engagement and leadership throughout the project.       As a Community Engagement Manager I work collaboratively with the Director of the Development and Community Relations developing partnerships and leading various community engagement initiatives including the volunteers, Promotoras de Salud, promoting department advocacy initiatives, and community-based health education activities. As part of my responsibilities I work on multiple levels to ensure The Development department objectives are met according to the BayArea Community Health program parameters and goals. We serve patients of all ages in the Alameda and Santa Clara Counties.
