   Execute Mechanical Maintenance tasks with quality. Handle plant break downs & maintenance. Supervise mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure quality and timely completion and as per planning. Floating inquiries, gathering quotations and making the indents on appropriate suppliers. Assist respective discipline Manager in Spares identification for procurement. Arranging for the spares required during the shift to attend to breakdown problems and maintaining the spares inventory. Guiding / supporting technicians and Foreman on day to day technical issues. Mobilize resources for day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities. Handling the team of foreman and Fitters with a constant focus for cost reduction and less breakdown along with timely implement the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment and machinery, Coordination with other departments for daily routine work, Management of spare parts. Contacting suppliers for engineering items quotations and giving order clearance after obtaining clearance. Documentation, check list of equipment, history of equipment & prepare official records. Prepare quality checklist to ensure the quality of work done. Prepare safety audit report & create a safety environment at work place area. Proper managementof materials and manpower (ISO9001-2008, ISO14001-2004, OHAS 18001). Following up of work allotted in the general shift to assess progress and facilitating and providing assistance to technicians in completing the work as per plan.
