  In this role I moved quickly from Interior design to Director of Design. I was the lead for concepts and prototype design for International Hotel Brands and led the Washington DC Interiors department on new construction, repositioning, and renovation projects.Some of my key accomplishments include:* My design work and myself as a designer was featured in Hotel Design, New Look Magazine, and Hotel Business.* I led over 20 renovations and 15 new builds over my 5 years with this firm.

  In this role, I held design oversight for the North America Collection of Waldorf Astoria and the Conrad Hotels & Resorts, as well as the renovations for the Curio Hotel Brand. I collaborated with ownership to develop design briefs and project execution for the existing portfolios. I also assisted in the formation of a new luxury brand LXR and corresponding brand narratives with the Brand Development team.Some of the great projects I had the pleasure of leading include:* Led the renovation efforts for the Waldorf Astorias Park City and New Orleans Roosevelt Hotels.* Led the renovations of the Conrad Hotel, Miami and NYC to align both sites with the brand standards and modernize the spaces to reflect market interest.* Created Heart of House design initiative, a global branded effort comprising of new standards and design guidelines for the team members back of house spaces for all 15 branded Hilton hotels.* On the team for the creation and launch of the Food Hall at the Hilton Corporate headquarters in McLean, Va Show less In the role I directed and guided the capital expenditure related to design of Hilton Worldwide's owned assets, including the reimagining and positioning of the Hilton brand to ensure market relevance and modern appeal. I supported multiple concurrent projects with an overall budget of $100M-$150M year over year.Some key project highlights include:* I partnered with the Hilton Food and Beverage team to produce the Herb-n-Kitchen prototype which was showcased in the Hilton New York Midtown Hotel and installed at properties throughout North America.* I led the project for the Hilton Mclean to debut the new reimaging of Hilton brand design.* I directed the design renovation of over 20 guestrooms, 15 lobbies, 15 food and beverage outlets for the Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites branded hotels.* I also had the pleasure of rep[resenting the organization at several large scale design events, including the HD show in 2010 where we showcased the new guestroom design of the New York Hilton.
