My research investigates the development of instrumental genesis in mathematics education, focusing on how educators utilize digital tools like spreadsheets, GeoGebra, Matlab, and dynamic graphing software. I employ both quantitative and qualitative techniques, including basic and advanced statistical methods such as Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), to explore the impact of these tools on educators' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

I was part of a team that collaborated on the Ministry of Education's research project. The project conducted a meta-analysis that integrated the theories of cognitive science and neuroscience in numeracy and mathematics. I used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework for systematics literature review. I performed the following tasks:• I formulated and implemented protocols for searching existing databases (ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Scopus, JSTOR, and EBSCO Host) and collected details on source accessibility, and other pertinent information for the identified sources. Additionally, I contacted the study authors for supplementary data.• I articulated the methodology employed in the study selection process, including screening, eligibility assessment, and the criteria for inclusion in the systematic review and subsequent meta-analysis.• I presented the outcomes of the meta-analysis, incorporating confidence intervals and measures of consistency.• I also created summary graphics for the meta-analysis of the research questions.• I undertook an in-depth analysis of an individually assigned research question, offering commentary on selected articles, and conducting meta-analysis using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software.
