  Engineering Cadet

  Stood twelve hour watches daily, helped perform preventative maintenance on ship machinery, and aided with cargo transfers from the offshore supply vessel (OSV) to oil platforms and shore facilities. Also completed the Maine Maritime Academy Cadet Shipping Project while on board the OSV, and presented my experience to the Hornbeck Offshore executive board after 81 days at sea.

  Instructed Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program students on theoretical as well as practical aspects of operating a nuclear propulsion plant. Performed one-on-one as well as small group seminar instruction.
