      Served as the Subject Matter Expert to Executive Leadership and staff on maintenance and logistical matters pertaining to all Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) aircraft. Liaison to USS GEORGE WASHINGTON Air Department on CVW-5 maintenance needs while underway.Prioritized Air Wing maintenance requirements ensuring all squadrons were at required aircraft readiness levels in accordance with Commander Naval Air Forces directives. Strictly executed 200 days of combat missions with a 100% mission completion rate.Responsible for logistics, administration and execution of numerous CVW-5 training detachments to Naval Air Station Fallon NV, Iwo-to Japan, Anderson Air Force Base Guam and Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Japan. Planned and directed the pack-up, movement and unloading of over one million pounds of cargo and 2,000 personnel between NAF Atsugi and the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON for underway operations.Directly assisted the Officer in Charge with the planning and implementation of Defense Policy Review Initiative (DRPI) policies for the relocation of CVW-5 fixed wing squadrons and families from NAF Atsugi to MCAS Iwakuni. An involved and engaged leader supervising and training 23 military and one foreign national employee-all geographically dispersed throughout the world. Responsible for technical, logistical and administrative oversight of command’s Maintenance Program Assessment team consisting of Naval Aviation and Supply subject matter experts. Plans and coordinates travel, lodging and inspection requirements for a team of 10 personnel on Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD) to various sites worldwide. Served as Commander Naval Air Force engine management liaison for all forces deployed to the 5th/6th/7th FLEET Area of Responsibility (Eastern Atlantic/Middle East/Western Pacific). Managed over 300 engine assets from five geographical locations. Close collaboration with multiple agencies ensured effective, efficient and economical utilization of manpower, funding and facilities.
