  Cultivate, solicit and steward prospects and donors capable of making bequests, life income gifts, and endowed gifts to the University. Provide prospects and their advisors with detailed information on gift planning vehicles. Prepare proposals and make presentations using planned giving software. Work closely with donors during the estate and charitable planning process in order to help satisfy their charitable goals while complying with IRS requirements. Work in close coordination with Foundation development directors staffing all schools and hospitals, as well as other University stakeholders to promote planned giving options to prospects and donors. Work with the prospects’ advisors in establishing planned gifts, as well as related professionals (appraisers, real estate agents, etc.) in facilitating such gifts. Work with the Foundation’s trust management company, oversee administration of the donor life income plans including charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and the pooled income fund. Ensure timely and accurate reporting and communications with income beneficiaries including income payouts, tax documentation, tracking, and related functions. Show less
