May 2017 - Jul 2017Summer InternSuccessfully modelled the Inverted Pendulum setup. Also, friction model was selectedbased on observations of experiments conducted on the test setup. Linearization of the nonlinearmodel was performed and a State Space Model was derived. Grey Box modelling was performed on the model and then finally the unknown value of friction was estimated in MATLAB using Predictive Error Modelling with constraint optimisation.
