  In this phase of my professional career arch, I am responsible for managing health and safety onboard ships, including compliance and mitigation of public health concerns.⇰ One of my key tasks in this role is to coordinate internal and external public health audits. It is noteworthy to mention that I track disease status and operational readiness during communicable illness response levels.A section of my key accomplishments in this role include:⇛ Achieved an exceptional score of 99%, highest in five years during the ship's bi-yearly vessel sanitation programme external audit conducted by Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).⇛ Recognized as a Health Environment Safety Security (HESS) Employee of the Month for significant contributions to company's HESS culture.⇛ Eliminated fruit fly and ant infestations on ships by executing a successful integrated pest management (IPM) response.⇛ Supervised public health compliance on 5000+ capacity cruise ships, ensuring adherence in various areas: disease prevention control, potable water, recreational water facilities, food safety, and IPM.⇛ Devised training materials and delivered cross-departmental training on public health and sanitation protocols.⇛ Prevented communicable diseases, such as COVID-19, Acute Gastroenteritis, and Chicken Pox through execution of compliance regulations and shipboard prevention measures.⇛ Maintained well-stocked inventory of pesticides, integrated pest management (IPM) equipment, and personal protective gear by leading integrated pest management and adhering to safe storage, usage, and disposal procedures and laws for approved chemicals.⇛ Delivered public health training to a multicultural team of 1300+ teammates from 40+ nationalities across various departments.
