      Concierge and night porter

      I started working as a kitchen porter, two months later I was given a chance to work as a Night porter and Concierge. My duties as Night porter where checking-in late arrivals, handling payments for leaving guests and guest complaints, serving drinks/sandwiches, preparing the bar for morning shift, setting up meeting rooms for the following day, making sure that restaurant is prepared for breakfast and that the breakfast buffet is set. My duties as Concierge are helping guests with their queries and handling their luggage. Meeting rooms are my priority. I am responsible for setting up for events, ensuring the rooms set in accordance with guests needs and greeting them, serving coffee/lunch breaks, breakdown and cleaning of meeting rooms.
