  As an Engineering Specialist in the Architecture and Engineering Expertise Center here at ZS, I am leading the architecture team from offshore for a US-based client. My responsibilities include (not limited to) - 1. Advising teams on architecture and DevOps best practices for enterprise-grade solutions. 2. Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.). 3. Mentoring teams on DevOps tools and technologies 4. Participating in various RFPs where I am responsible for solution architecture.Few projects that I have worked on and currently working on are - 1. Setting up a high-performance computing environment for Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics which uses AWS Parallel Cluster and Sun Grid Engine (SGE) on the backend. This was implemented as a COTS application provided by a third-party vendor. It includes various scientific computing tools like NONMEM, Perl Speaks NONMEM (PSN), Pirana, and RStudio. Our role was to integrate various on-prem/cloud-based systems with this tool and validating (GAMP compliant) the entire application. 2. Setting up a Clinical Data Repository and Scientific Computing Environment (CDR-SCE) for a pharma client with the help of a third-party vendor application. The responsibilities included setting up various infrastructure components like AWS EC2, EBS, EFS, API Gateway, Lambda, etc., and installing software such as RStudio products and SAS Enterprise Server. This was a validated and regulatory-compliant system. 3. Setting up an enterprise Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) platform to facilitate the productization of ML Models. The platform will have features like Model deployment, re-training, model catalog, etc. This is being built using AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3 (for static web hosting), CloudFront, etc., and MLFlow.
