I regularly posted article suggestions in our Facebook group and managed writers by setting deadlines and making sure these were adhered to. Each month, I would proof-read all articles before sending them to the Editor In-Chief and design team.   The Frontrunners scheme works to enhance student employability via high-quality internships. My internship was based in the Department of Politics, People and Place and was focused on promoting the learning and research of both students and staff. I developed my digital communications skills by promoting the department's activities and events within the Business and Law faculty and on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I was responsible for the department's co-created magazine, POPP Culture, and collated material from staff and students across a range of subject areas including political party conferences and the SDGs. I would also participate in POPP events including Congress to Campus and European Parliament to Campus and assist lecturers when necessary. Furthermore, I helped with the planning and organisation of the annual dissertation poster event.Skills developed within this role include self-management, teamwork, problem-solving, social media outreach and strong written and verbal communication skills.   I worked at Roca Group, the market leader of sanitaryware across the globe. I supported the marketing communications and product management departments for Roca and Laufen brands. - I worked with an external design agency to create and update product brochures, the annual trade price lists, new product launch promotional materials, training workbooks, as well as ad-hoc work such as event invites.- I exclusively managed the email marketing communication and campaign of an incentive programme for 110 retailers across the UK and Ireland. - I assisted with event planning and management, including our National Sales Meeting and Press Days. - I worked with the external PR agency to ensure consistent press coverage through product releases, news stories, award entries and case studies. Specifically, I helped to increase our Laufen PR coverage by 14% over the same period last year, by supporting the Laufen PR and communications plan, including copywriting and production of website content.   I work alongside the Editor-in-Chief to produce our monthly print magazine. I manage all online content for demon-media.co.uk, through WordPress and have a basic knowledge of the plugin Divi Builder. I also create training relevant for our members, such as our Demon Magazine handbook, Alumni Q&As and OFCOM briefings.I have written 15+ pieces for the print and online magazine this year, in a variety of sections including Health and Lifestyle, Student Discussion and News.
