Its aim is to promote diversity, and celebrate the cultural mosaic that makes Canada so unique. As Chair of the Ukraine Pavilion, I coordinated activities to showcase Ukrainian culture to over 5000 visitors. My main responsibilities included: • Leading a team of 10 committee members to ensure the timely completion of key deliverables for the festival• Establishing the pavilion’s goals and objectives, and ensuring a strategic plan is in place to achieve all outlined goals• Maintaining the financial integrity of the festival, and developing customized sponsorship proposals and presentations to various community organizations• Implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to maximize the success of the event• Maintaining supplier relations and coordinating all purchasing activities• Coordinating interviews and press releases for the pavilion• Preparing vendor contracts and determining vendors’ fee structure Show less
