      COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinics:• Conducted time-studies at each check points (Screening, Check-in, Vaccination and Observation) to identify the current wait times at respective stations.• Assisted the team to build a simulation model by considering the layout of the vaccination center and complying with fire codes and the CDC’s COVID safety guidelines.• Determined the staffing levels and logistical set-up required to ramp-up the no. of vaccination from 250 to 1760 vaccinations/day. • Recommended to appoint a pharmacist to fill the vaccine syringe instead of the vaccinator which increased the capacity of no. of vaccinations by 9.5%.Discharge Process Improvement:• Worked on improving the discharge process by eliminating the factors affecting the discharge process.• Worked on EPIC system to extract the data needed to analyze the discharge process.• Developed a fishbone diagram to find the factors affecting the discharge process.• Developed an in-detail process map of the discharge process to understand various steps involved in the process.• Performed time studies to understand the complexity of the discharges for the patients going to a facility.• Used Power BI software to analyze the data and represent the same with different charts to identify the opportunities for improvement.• Based on the analysis, 30% of the times the discharge process took greater than 5 hrs. for the patient to discharge.
