  Highlights:- My skills in business valuation were well appreciated especially by group leaders. I was told that those skills would have been invaluable in a real-life transaction.- Our team represented the seller in the transaction and due to a negotiation tactic I tried we managed to receive a last minute 20% price increase- Our entire group got excellent reviews from our leaders and, in my opinion, our teamwork was practically flawlessThe Nordic Business Law Academy is a law student program comprising seminars, workshops, practical excercises and networking in a team setting. The program was conducted over four sessions and focused on an authentic case study which incorporates the legal elements of a real M&A transaction, e.g. conducting a due diligence review, drafting and negotiationg transaction and financing documents, responding to client demands to tight deadlines, and the signing and closing process. The program has been developed by, and implemented under the close supervision of, seasoned professionals and experts.   During my secondment, I acted as a Legal Counsel at the Global Legal department of Huhtamäki Group, being responsible for corporate governance and finance matter. Acting as an in-house counsel of Huhtamäki Group, I was heavily involved in the preparation of the Annual General Meeting of the parent company of the group, reviewing and commenting on various documents related to corporate governance, audit and financing structures of the group companies and preparing and coordinating the integration of newly-acquired group companies from a corporate law perspective.
