      Cashier/ customer service rep./tags

Non-foods Stocking- the first year and a half. Cashier and Customer Service- currently. I was our store's Inclusion Council Adviser (I was in charge of our store council) until I stepped down after 2 years so that someone else could have an opportunity to have the position. In this position, I helped plan events at our store (i.e. having the SPCA come out for an adoption drive or holding a coat drive for families in our community in need). I helped boost the morale of our employees (i.e. having Employee Appreciation Days/Weeks and giving gift cards to deserving Employees). I helped bridge the communication gap between management and employees, also (If an associate has an issue they wanted to bring up and didn't feel comfortable bringing it up to the management staff themselves they would bring it to us.). I also, pull old tags and hang new ones. Then put the batch reports through so that the computer knows to change the prices. I scan empty holes on the shelves so that they know what needs to be filled. I do reshop and bag too. I have helped in Floral, Photo, Produce and Grocery on occasion as well. I am the SCO Champion (Self Check Out) which means I am to learn and then train all new things having to do with USCAN to our employees and set a good example for them. Also, teaching and assisting the Customers with the USCANs so that they can learn how to operate them with little or no help and leave having a good experience. In the Front Office, I do Western Union, Money Orders, Lottery and various other things. I help supervise and make sure things are done when and how they need to be. Also, I train new employees. But most importantly I put the Customer first and my coworkers second. Show less

      Children's summer ministries intern

I taught Sunday School and helped with lesson plans. I taught the Taste of 3Cs which is for 3 year olds to start getting used to being in preschool. I helped with lesson plans for 3Cs, too. I worked in Childcare and helped with organizing, cleaning, coming up with lesson plans (all lesson plans were different than each other). I ran Summer Bible Study Camp which we called Mini Camp. I did the lesson plan, organized everything for it including music and food, trained the staff for summer camp, helped with decorating, placed children in classes, communicated with children and staff, spent time getting to know each child, and over saw the daily camp activities. Childcare worker

I watch and care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. I teach them about God as well as every day tasks they need to know like potty training and cleaning up after themselves. I serve them snacks. We play outside and in the muscle room. We have them for about 3 hours at a time and the children range in age. The class size is different every day and it is not always the same children. We do see the children on a fairly regular basis though. It depends on the activities that are going on and such at the church and in 3Cs. Show less

      Phone hub

I work in our phone hub and answer calls for a few stores. I set up car installation appointments as well as appointments with our Geek Squad and for our In Home Advisors to come out to their property. I answer customer questions like if something is in stock; specific product questions like what it can do; I help customers solve any delivery problems that may come up and try to solve any other issues so they don't have to talk to a manager unless they really want to. I also assist with store pick ups, customer service including returns and exchanges, and ring out customers in store. Show less
