  I am a member of the Speakers for Schools Youth Council (a team of 18 people out of hundreds of applicants) and I am pleased to represent the South East. In February, I had the opportunity to attend a two-day training event in London where I got to meet multiple employees from different areas of the charity and hear about their work and aspirations. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience of networking and gaining a better understanding of this exciting organisation and how I can help them better understand the needs of the younger generation.   Student Tutor

  I took part in the Widening Horizons Outreach programme at Kendrick School, helping to tutor kids from years 3-6. I tutored a group of around 5 students each week and went through work ranging from non-verbal reasoning to maths and comprehension questions. Most sessions were online where I led the students through the work- by breaking down the question and demonstrating potential methods to solve- ensuring they are engaged, comfortable participating and confident in sharing their answers.
