  As Training and Development and Staffing Manager (TDS) for the MEA region, this was my first out of field assignment. The role of the TDS is to offer training and development support to our field engineer and in my specific focus area on our growing maintenance community. Direct one-to-one interfacing with the maintenance and field engineer populaiton across the Middle East and Asia region was required to gather proficiencies, roll out training programs, monitor training delays and assist in the recruitment and staffing for the region stretching from Egypt to Australia. Was exposed to high level HQ planning cycles, several technical audits on various field locations. Developed a strong working relationship with the personnel department, the many field locations and area headquarters. My mentoring, personnel management and training skills were developed in this position. Show less
