  A Touch of Health Therapies is a wellness spa providing a variety of massage services in Midland, Michigan. I am very passionate about natural health and wellness, so this was an opportunity to work with others who shared my interests. My main responsibilities included inputting client information into an electronic database and creating promotional print materials for the business. I also traveled with the owner in March 2013 to work a women's expo in Grand Rapids for a weekend; there I was setting up displays, selling massage products, and working on my interpersonal skills.   I started Beauty Uncorked, LLC in April 2015, after working on a business plan to use wine in beauty products as my capstone project at Northwood University, I entered a business pitch competition and won some money to start up. I was able to triple my revenue goals during my first year in business, by selling in two retail stores, two hair salons, and the local farmer's market.Beauty Uncorked, LLC offered a variety of handcrafted, all natural wine-fragranced soaps. I truly believe that using wine in skin care is going to be the next big trend in natural beauty products. Wine contains reservatrol, a powerful antioxidant that helps to prevent aging, and grapeseed oil is a byproduct of the wine making process that is known for its moisturizing and skin healing properties.
