    • Hemisphere Business Transformation Ltd

      Apr 2013 - now
      Managing Director

My focus has been on transforming Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM) in Global Health /Pharma. I supported The Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, with respect to their Procurement 4 Impact (P4i) transformation programme. The award-winning P4i project enabled the Global Fund to transform its approach to sourcing and procurement, deliver a range of innovative initiatives across global and in-country supply chains, achieve savings of over $0.5bn whilst maximizing impact, significantly increasing on-time delivery and ultimately ensuring improved and sustainable access to health products. As Global Programme Management Adviser I enabled a large generic Pharma company to achieve successful on-time go-live and compliance with the EU Falsified Medicines Directive. This introduced harmonised European measures to fight medicine falsifications through the supply chain and ensure that medicines are safe for patients. The scope covered some 10,000 SKUs, 0.5bn packs per year, 200 CMOs and 30 countries with a complex systems architecture. I provided technical and commercial analysis and advice; stakeholder engagement across the complex global supply chains; and multi-functional/multi-country coordination across Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, IT, Sales/Marketing and Customer Service.
