  ➤ Strategically created and managed special events and activities carried out by the organization, including designing sponsorship programs, while developing stewardship policies, procedures, and strategies as a key member of leadership.➤ Played an integral role in fulfilling the organization's mission, successfully soliciting sponsors for 6 signature yearly events that brought a collective attendance of 125K unique visitors to downtown Ithaca during the critical shopping months.➤ Actively oversaw and implemented all event fundraising activities, including leading the Special Event Fundraising team of 5, as well as handled direct interaction with event participants promoting the agenda of the development.➤ Collaborated with the Executive Director to develop a strategic plan for implementation of all events, and worked with the Marketing & Communications Coordinator to provide direction for event marketing.➤ Effectively led efforts to grow and shape downtown Ithaca events including the Summer Concert Series, Winter Light Festival, and Chili Cook-Off, and redesigned the signature event, the Apple Harvest Festival, making it a profit center for the first time in the event's 20-year history.➤ Served as Director of the Special Events & Programs Board of Supervisors that was comprised of 6 downtown Business Owners and 2 Elected Officials, who provided valuable stakeholder insight into the needs of the community.➤ Successfully launched a student marketing program which ultimately resulted in the changing of 2 signature event dates, as well as developed peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns and managed third-party community activities.➤ Created and oversaw all staff management programming to thank and acknowledge individuals and entities who philanthropically supported, while working with Accounting to create then distribute endowment reports.
