Appointed as Executive Director, Finance for APJ after the merger between Schering Plough and Merck in Nov 2009, responsible for manufacturing operations in the region comprising 11 plants. • Winner of Division/Staff Area Award for outstanding performance in 2015 and Transition Success Program in 2009.• Contributed to the successful negotiation with the Economic Development Board for extension of pioneer status for drug substance and drug products manufactured in Singapore. Obtained INTEC grants for R&D staff, and incentives for building a TriGen facility on site (generation of electricity, steam and chilled water). Successfully re-negotiated for enhanced pioneer tax incentives with EDB again in 2010 for the new Schering Plough and Merck merged entity. • Ensured acquired plants in the Asia Pacific region are brought into the regional framework.
