Delivery of network connectivity (LAN and WAN) for over 500 temporary structures and satellite offices throughout Western Canada.Delivery of an application compatibility project to ensure that the Shell Canada Application base was ready for the deployment of Windows Vista. Completed a licensing audit and remediation of Shell Canada’s application base.Deployment of a new automated desktop refresh tool and process, and the refresh of Shell Canada’s desktop environment (6000 PC’s). The project also involved the contract management with Hewlett Packard for the purchase and delivery of desktop infrastructure.   Leading complex GIS software development projects for a variety of industry verticals, including energy, forestry, transportation retail, and government, both federal and local. Significant projects include:Development/deployment of a business intelligence application for a major US based retail organization. Lead the design, development, and delivery of an application that supports business planning utilizing spatial, demographic, statistical and sales metrics data. The application includes numerous workflows and tools that provide information critical to store location planning, managing promotional strategies, and planning stock levels in addition to a number of other retail management processes.Development/deployment of a transportation projects planning and review application for a federal district of transportation organization. This included project design, review, and planning in a desktop setting, as well as remote data collection in the field. The application accommodates several business workflows across multiple stakeholder groups and functional areas of the organization.Development/deployment of the Canadian Housing Statistics Program Dashboard for Statistics Canada. Lead the design, development, and delivery of an application for citizens to visualize and process Canadian housing data through a map interface and custom charting. This project involved an extensive design component that involved competing usability preferences across multiple stakeholder groups and involved complex data and indicator requirements. Show less
