Titled "Load Capacity and Thermal Efficiency Optimization of a Research Data Center Using Computational Modeling," the research combines computational fluid dynamics analysis with factorial analysis to determine the optimal operating conditions for a data center to maximize energy efficiency.

      1st Place in Protection of Pumpkin Category of Pumpkin Drop Villanova University College Of Engineering Okt. 2014 This competition tasked students with trying to save their pumpkin from a drop from the top of Bryn Mawr Fire Company’s 100-foot truck ladder. Only certain materials were allowed and a weight limit was imposed. Engineering principles were incorporated to produce the safest fall by using the best protection possible.

      1st Place Research Poster in Undergraduate Engineering Villanova University Chapter of Sigma Xi, the International Honor Society for Research Scientists and Engineers Apr. 2014 Received the award for the best undergraduate engineering research poster for “Development of an Experimental Rig to Measure the Transient Response of Crossflow Heat Exchanger” during the annual Villanova University Student Research Poster Symposium. This research was conducted in the Laboratory for Advanced Thermal and Fluid Systems under Alfonso Ortega, PhD, Associate Vice President for Research and Graduate Programs, and director of the Center for Energy-Smart Electronic Systems.
