Software development for DSP applications in audio and video using TMS320C5000 and C6000 processors. Projects include implementation and optimization of matrix decomposition, asynchronous sample rate conversion, adaptive spectral noise reduction, key shift for voice recorder, and narrow to wideband conversion. Programming expertise includes assembly, C/C++, and Matlab. Developed hardware and software control algorithms for family of video decoders which digitized analog composite video and output a digital stream consisting of syncs, luminance, and chrominance. Control algorithms included digital phase lock loops which locked to horizontal and vertical syncs and color burst and ran on ARM processor embedded on chip. Also developed scaler, edge detailed enhancement, and RF modulator (channels 3 and 4) blocks for HD video networking chip. Developed high speed VHSIC array processor architecture and wrote application code for FLIR target detection, tracking, and identification. Also benchmarked and demonstrated similar applications using TMS320C30 DSP board for Smart Weapons system. Developed and designed chips for the following systems.1. PBS Captioning for the Deaf2. Canon A1 camera3. Magnavox Color Odyssey TV game4. Low power electronic LED watches5. Phase lock loop stereo decoder6. Audio amplifier

Generated a Kotlin program using Android Studio that implements Caller Select call screener for Android phone.Implemented a house alarm controller, an analog clock, and fractal slideshow display using Beaglebone Black wireless processor and 3D Systems LCD capacitive touch 7 inch display.Project using Beaglebone Black wireless board upgrades old house alarm system to provide remote montoring and control using WIFI. Software written in Python sends email alert when alarm is triggered. Software written in Javascript and HTML provides a server that runs on Chrome brower that enables status monitoring and alarm siren disable/enable control. Also built Beaglebone display box to show analog clock and fractal artworks.Created automated presentation of the solar system with audio in slide show mode for the OmniGlobe in the Children's Garden at the Dallas Arboretum.
