      Responsibilities:•Providing engineering support for all equipments in related test platform.•Planning and executing maintenance activities for Test Equipment handlers, thus assuring best performance achieved for an efficiency manufacturing environment. •Achieving and sustaining the goal for Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) on the Eagle ETS364 tester platform•Identifying design improvement on equipment mechanical parts, and collaborating with vendors for prototype evaluations as a measure for maintenance cost effectiveness.•Lead a team of highly skilled technicians, junior engineers in daily operational issues, and carry out training programs to increase their technical skills.Achievements:•QFN Overall Handler Jam Reduction: Successfully brought down handler prober jam losses which was averaging at 6% in Q1’08 to current Wk42 WTD loss of 4.4%, improvement of 1.6% OEE. Headed contact cassette refurbishment project with team. A total of 28 Multitest handlers will be refurbished to decrease further handler prober jam losses by 1.0%.•ETS QFN L4 OEE Improvement: Improved QFN OEE from 48.9% in Q1’08 to 50% OEE Wk42 WTD. Completed retraining in Aug’08 for PO on Aetrium and Multitest handler jam clearing to reduce time loss from awaiting support. Kick-off CBM in QFN line with technicians with ownership by module for sustenance of handlers performance in Aug’08. Close monitoring of OEE for QFN platform with weekly updates to upper management through weekly ETS364 dashboard and commentaries. •Multitest and Aetrium MCBJ Improvement: Brought up Multitest MCBJ to average 1400 across all packages (2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 7x7) for QFN Level 4 platform. Successfully realigned and completed handler movement in QFN Level 4 by handler technology with module A – F (Multitest) and module G – M (Aetrium) during the Raya shutdown period in Sept’08 to have better coverage by PO and technician based on skill level.
