Introduced bonded trucking from Chennai to Calicut ( Kerala State). Collaborated with HQ on signing agency agreements with Cargolux/Cathay Pacific and Polar Air to cover SE Asia/Europe and USA. It's still fresh in memory of me sitting underneath the air-craft while cargo was loaded on its maiden flight.

  After arriving in 2008 in Australia & when I had no choice but take up a documentation role just to get back in Freight Forwarding & after almost 15 years in the industry I got an opportunity to become a country manager for WeFreight, well it came with challenges as I was the first person on board, we didn't even have an address or even a letter-head. I didnt know anything about administration, legal, accounts, consulating etc, Yes I learnt alot in setting up WeFreight-AU right from scratch, appointing a consulting firm, knowing the legalities how to open a MNC company in AU, dealing with ATO/Fairwork/Banks/Real Estate, knowing the terms of leasing a commercial premises, liaising with fit-out companies for drawing up an office & finally accomplished the setting up of WeFreight- Australia. Whilst it was interesting and challenging, the scope gave me an exposure of knowing various things. Since the day- GO-ALIVE WeFreight is been operating under tough conditions but we have come a long way, nurturing a team and guiding them on a successful journey in amidst of all the chaos were sustainability is the core. I have accomplished this activity twice in setting up MNC's from scratch, once in India & now in AU. Show less
