      1. Using COMSOL Multiphysics software to observe the performance of the energy-efficient soil material for different thermal conditions *Developing most efficient, energy-saving, structurally stable, and thermally effective soil material for radioactive waste storage, pavements in cold regions, energy foundations applications*Performing the compressive strength, swelling potential, shear strength, durability tests, thermal conductivity tests on problematic expansive soils*Assisted Professor with research proposals*Performed life cycle analysis and sustainability analysis of a pavement subgrade layer treated with a binding agent, and waste plastics*Team leader of developing an innovative and sustainable solution to stabilize problematic soil2. Team leader of a project funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), titled “Next Generation Autonomous Self-Healing Materials for Outer Space Exploration”. As a part of this project I have evaluated chemical and physical properties of lightweight material e.g., epoxy, epoxy, and graphene oxide composite, epoxy and silica composite, and sulfur selenium material. The chemical degradation of these epoxy materials and sulfur selenium was performed with hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid.3. Capable to perform TGA, SEM, EDS, XRD, FTIR, contact angle, Micro XCT4. Assisted in teaching 4 undergraduate students. Topics included: Geotechnical laboratory experiments, compaction tests, unconfined compressive strength, shear strength tests, swell potential tests, thermal conductivity tests. Show less
