  Steering and braking lead as well as the project manager for the ASME e-HPVC. For this competition, I have designed and manufactured a fully in-house recumbent trike steering and braking subsystem. Our team secured and managed a ~$3000 budget and have gained extensive manufacturing experience which includes: lathe, mill, MIG/TIG welding, and water-jet. All designs were completed and simulated using Solidworks and ANSYS. Assist faculty and staff during panels and presentations, interact with prospective students and their families, and lead school of engineering tours. Researched 3D printed microfluidic devices with embedded short electrospun nano/microfibers and 3D printed microfluidic connectors using UV curable resin. Successfully designed and prototyped an experimental apparatus for printing microfluidic connectors using a coaxial nozzle and UV LED. Perfomed experimental work with the aid of MATLAB, ImageJ, and data analysis using Excel. Also created and presented a technical presentation and thesis to the greater student body of TCNJ.

  Research And Development Intern

  Led prototype development of a low-cost flush device. Designed prototype models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks and manufactured physical devices using rapid prototyping technologies such as Multijet Fusion and stereolithography. Created and presented a capstone research poster.

  R&D Intern

  • Supported development of implant templates, instruments, and sterilization tray for a foot osteotomy wedge system through multiple design loops (including DFM) and created associated engineering drawings. Designed and prototyped multiple tamp, inserter, and implant trial concepts using SolidWorks design tables for surgeon evaluation meetings. Supported supplier selection for instrumentation.• Responsible for completing V&V documentation, drawing reviews, DHF and risk management documents (DFMEA, IOVV, Hazard Analysis), tolerance stack analysis, and design reviews.• Attended cadaver labs for Hind-Foot Nail and Upper Extremity Mini Fragment Plating systems.• Create, manage, route, and approve cross functional DHF documents in Windchill PLM system.• Maintain positive relationships and provide design feedback to external suppliers through all phases of development.
