With both Turbines producing 80MW of electricity it is then distributed into the national grid. Experienced in the running of the Conoco Phillips Rivers unit which takes feed from offshore rigs, separating gas from the condensate/liquid, stripping the in-process methanol, compressing the gas then forwarding it on to the solvent/amine treatment unit for H2S stripping/removal. The gas is then forwarded to the North units where it is further treated. Once experienced on the Rivers unit I moved onto the North Morecambe terminal. using safety through knowledge. Working with equipment such as reciprocating product gas compressors, Nitrogen rejection unit, field gas compressor, Methanol Distillation and Condensate Stablisation processing plant (Liquid handling/seperation,) fiscal metering equipment, Dew Point absorbers, Fired Heaters, BASF CO2 removal unit and PIGing operations. My position also requires me to be involved with the safety aspects as well as the day to day running of a process area, such as auditing of P&ID line walks for verification and red lining, then sent for changes if required, second checking Isolation packs for planned work scopes and signing as a verifier, Lock open / Lock closed P&ID register surveys for annual HSE audits, producing Isolation packs with marked up P&ID’s and job step plans. Field verification on work parties, attending tool box talks when tasks are being carried out on my area. Participate in shift Gun drills/Emergency scenarios and procedure reviews. fully competent using all relevant computer based programs such as ISSOW, Microsoft and excel, also the companies OMS/BMS for latest revision P&ID’s, procedures/policies and all safety critical information for the asset.
