      EH&S and Sustainability Excellence Awards Consolidated Edison Conservation Voltage Optimization- this program utilizing ConEd’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure, AMI, including Smart meters to operate our system at optimal voltage. The system more finely tuned the energy supplied at the substation to the needs of the customers. This reduces carbon emissions while also saving our customers money. In 2022, we achieved 1.3% energy savings resulting in $43M saved for our customers.
