  Direct responsible engineer in the Safety team to guide the architectural designs comply with the US and European safety regulations through Explicit Dynamic FE modeling & simulation in ANSYS LS-DYNA. — Developed novel energy absorption countermeasures to mitigate injury risks alongside balancing the conflicting attributes like structural strength, acoustics, mass, cost and styling/industrial design intent. — Built component level and sub-assembly level FE models and performed explicit dynamic finite-element simulations to virtually evaluate product safety performance. — Executed pre-test CAE simulations to define physical test set-up, and worked with external labs to conduct impact tests for correlating the computational predictions. — Collaborated with external FEA consultants and part suppliers to characterize rate dependent mechanical behavior of polymeric materials for dynamic loading applications. — Assessed the quality of CAE material cards by performing single-element numerical stability tests to verify the mathematical formulation. — Involved in FE methods development projects to research innovative approaches towards incorporating manufacturing process chain influences into CAE modeling. — Guided the design and development of injection-moulding soft tools through component level finite-element simulations to inform the optimum geometry of structure.
