  IAs an independently contracted Actor, I have currently performed in seven, full-time, touring stage productions over the course of eight years. Each was as a lead role (or several!) in a six or seven member cast, original, Three-Act musical comedy. During intermissions, we interact with guests live on the floor and perform in staged and improvised "schtick" in a fun and immersive entertainment experience! Working at the theatres in Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Calgary in between shows as an Additional Cast member, I created and/or imitated over 60 different characters in a fully improvised environment. We were fully responsible for all character choices, costumes, props and make-up, which I personally enjoyed putting my best efforts into! We would interact, improvise and entertain guests all while serving meals, drinks and humour in a fast-paced environment!As a Stage Manager, it was my responsibility to ensure that the Show, Intermissions, Actors, Additional Cast Characters, On-stage and Floor "schtick" and songs, all blended cohesively and efficiently throughout each evening. I was also responsible for small tweaks and notes along the course of the run, ensuring the show and floor are always providing the best service and most entertaining experience possible for our guests.Over my years in these theatres, I have learned and experienced an extraordinarily broad range of musical genres, comedic styles, and gained an extensive set of "entertainment" skills including improvisation, character creation, impersonations, sword-fighting, stage stunts, costume, prop, and make-up design, magic tricks and balloon twisting!As a muralist, we painted the interior theatre walls and set (usually within 3-5 days) in various styles for each new production. I designed the wall art for their production of "Big Boom Theory II: Time Traveling Geeks".I have most recently been a writer on 2 productions - "Oh Boy, Buddy Holly!" and "Michael Jackson is Back from the Future".
