  During the summer months I was in charge of the module assembly production as a supervisor. My responsibilities were capacity and performance control of an assembly department with over 100 employees. With the daily tasks of a supervisor I also took part in many projects within the factory, such as designing new layouts and new small parts line paint shop. With the position my daily tasks involved many computer based programs such as ERP, IMS and Siemens PLM.From September to end of October I worked as a full-time shift supervisor in the early morning hours and late evening shifts. My responsibilities were to support the manufacturing at the Tampere site out of the office hours. The job required a good overall knowledge of the assembly process and the products of Sandvik.   Master of science thesis on the extended product service and its profitability on contract period of five years. My thesis focused on data analysis and life cycle costing of heavy machinery in aggregate business in the Nordics market area. Key findings of my research included ways to improve the profitability through different methods of pricing and how to increase customer satisfaction with the product. I created new service guides and service operating lists for Metso's finnish service department to use at customer sites and in service centers. The task required good knowledge of spare and wear parts as well as the usage of the machine types being used. I also participated in extended product service project, where my tasks included the division of parts to which are included in the service based on their life cycle and wearing.
