  RESEARCH AND INNOVATIONS- Led a project concerning plant source of bioactive ingredients with the main objective to evaluate the bioavailability of lipid extracts in different forms and to assess their bioactivity, focusing on potential treatment of lipid-related disorders and associated diseases. Laureate of 3 international scholarships (Eiffel excellence 2018, Ostrogradski 2019, Erasmus+ 2020) and ITMO mobility grant (2019). Successfully negotiated for scholarship extension (Erasmus+) in force majeure circumstances- Learned methods of lipid extraction and characterization, resulted in one of the first reports about chia seeds phospholipid fraction- Investigated omega-3 rich lipid-based nanoparticles preparation and characterization techniques resulted in Q1 publication (https://doi.org/10.3390/ijms21239079)- Analyzed cytotoxicity of nanoparticles and performed bioavailability tests using cell models (cell lines and primary culture) by adapting established lab protocols to new areas of research- Obtained Animal experimentation certificateINTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS- Collaborated with lab members to achieve defined research goals in a limited time frame (18 months for experimental part), considered the difference in 2 universities educational credit systems Show less
