This involved preparing samples, maintaining and testing laboratory machinery, disposing of medical waste, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.

      Medical Screener/ Clinic Administration Officer

      I transitioned to a medical screener / clinical administration role in 2018 to expand my clinical skills. During my time at Sonic HeathPlus, I was responsible for conducting pre-employment medicals. This involved vision, hearing, spirometry, COVID-19, ECG and mask fit testing to examine fitness for specialised job roles.

      WIRES is the largest wildlife rescue organisation in Australia. WIRES rescues and cares for sick, injured and orphaned native animals. WIRES cares for, and provides rescue advice and assistance for over 130,000 animals annually.As a rescue coordinator, I am responsible for facilitating the rescue and care of injured wildlife; often in life threatening situations. This involves assessing the danger to the wildlife in question, providing first aide advice and organising further care if required.
