  This was a Freelance position mainly covering the NorthWest region, however on secondment I oversaw a network roll out upgrade in the Bristol area. Roles and responsibilities;• Installation, service and repair of TeleWest cable TV, Telco and Broadband Internet into customer’s premises within two main architectures SID and SBC. The job entailed cable routing, termination and box configuration at the customer’s premises, it also includes completing the cross connects within the street cabinets, checking for tolerances relating to SNR (signal to noise ratio), dB ratings and often cross modulation channels.   From a technical perspective I was instrumental in the effective delivery of numerous events around the globe, most notably BETT UK and Middle East, ITie Symposium, SLF(Scotland), Educatice/Intertice (Paris), World Didac (Basel), Worldidacta (Germany), Interpedagogica (Austria), Skolforum (Sweden), ISE (Amsterdam), IATEFL (Dublin), E-India,and various key events throughout Italy, Spain, Portugal and Tunisia. I also assisted peripherally at NECC 08 (Texas). Striving for improvements, I formed a framework for documenting ideas and methods for developing a more incisive, structured approach to delivering a successful exhibition. Along with a comprehensive demonstration stock inventory and an official feedback form, its aim to provide an efficient channel for reporting issues back into Product Management. I played an instrumental role in the design and roll-out of the audit and accreditation process for the EMEA Partner Services division.
