  As a scientific researcher R&D, I contribute to the design and development activities of new polymer materials by using the combination of polymer chemistry and material science to build useful and unique materials such as Kevlar, polyolefin, Teflon, biodegradables, fiberglass, polyester, and nylon furthermore, I continue adjusting previous designs such as making polyolefin and biodegradables more lightweight and durable. 1- Development of new polymer products and improvement of existing products2- Synthesis of novel polymers by controlling the molecular structure of polymers in term to control the final physical properties3- Independently, design and perform technology, polymer product development, and optimization Experiments4-Identify critical polymeric materials parameters for effective design and application by making use of all polymer and materials identification and characterization techniques such as (tensile, flexural, density, hardness, scratch resistance, DSC, DMTA, TMA, TGA, HDT, capillary, rotational, Melt Flow Rate/Index, WVTR, OTR, and UV)5-Develops in-house research/test plans, conducts tests on candidate materials, processes, and equipment, and generates detailed reports on test results6- Support the methods of polymer development, scale-up, and process improvement with the different teams7- Draft R&D and Quality control protocols for polymer material and product testing8- Prepare written and verbal technical reports, project summaries and updates.9- Ensure compliance with established processes, procedures, and quality standards10-Ensure that the individual R&D targets of the projects are met and participating in the activities of generating new patents and inventions11-Work with other members of R&D, Process Development and Quality assurance teams to achieve company goals Show less
