  Taught 4th grade in multiple schools in Texas. I am most proud of my time at a Title I school in a low socio-economic area of Austin. In spite of the odds against it, this school achieved Exemplary status, an honor rarely achieved outside wealthy neighborhoods.

  Advised and helped create the innaugural education department for the Texas History Museum in its premier year.
