      As a Police Officer working for the Dyer Police Department, I had the opportunity to learn and gain many transferable skills. My responsibilities as a patrolman included enforcing criminal law, traffic law, and ordinance violations within the town of Dyer.-This position allowed me to correctly identify suspicious activity. By doing so, I have been able to helpsuppress crime and bridge the relationship gap between the community and law enforcement. Beinga senior patrolman gave me the opportunity to lead by example and teach incoming officers how toeffectively complete a shift by implementing safety measures and crime deterrence.- I received Certificate of Valor in 2021 & Police Officer of the Year in 2019.
