      Sept 2017 - Jan 2018
      Research Intern

ITISARAS aims to propagate awareness and inquisitiveness about the miracles as well as the flaws of India and its people. Divided along the lines of regionality and linguistic boundaries, we hope to make people realize that the hills of Arunachal and the backwaters of Kerala, are as Indian as the fields in Punjab and the Ganga running through the North. As rational, free-thinking youth of the nation, we consider it our responsibility, to keep the flames of heritage burning, to try to recover the lost, but most of all, to ensure that every piece of opinion is grounded in liberty, democracy and equal rights. There was a consensus among the members that the information available on Indian culture, society and polity is largely misinterpreted, adulterated and misrepresented. Living in the age where information is easily at our disposal, it is only fair to have adequate knowledge of the culture that bred us and the society that we are active members of. Show less
