  Data analysis

  My project aimed at predicting the mean vehicle velocity whenever it encounters a curve. Classified vehicles into 3 categories namely cars & SUV, LCV and HCV. Worked with over 10,000 data and applied Linear regression model in R. The model had an R-squared of 93.4%.

  Developed a new Road Damage Scale (RDS) by analysing earthquake data using Random Forests and Support Vector Machines (SVM). Achieved an accuracy of 82.3% with Random Forest and 89.7% with SVM.

  Object detection and counting

  Built an algorithm for counting the number of microbes present in a laboratory sample image. Used Otsu's thresholding, erosion and labelling algorithm to achieve the result. Got an accuracy of 93.4% for the sample images.

  Vehicle route optimization

  In Supply Chain Management one always feels the need to optimize the route of vehicles carrying goods. In this project I'm trying out different algorithms to make the Vehicle Route much more optimized after taking into account the capacity of each vehicle and the demand at each stop. Currently working on Clarke and Wright Savings based algorithm and Holmes and Parker algorithm to get the desired results. In this I'm using k-means clustering to group the coordinates and assign a common stop for routing. Show less
