    • Create & Thrive

      Dec 2015 - now
      Founder

Following a stint living in Bangladesh in 2014 while my husband completed a second contract there was the catalyst for starting C&T Co. I have continued my passion for healthy food and my number one tool of trade is a Thermomix so I became a consultant (2013) and then a Team Leader (2017) and this enables me to also work on my "passion project" - a social enterprise called SHE MADE THIS. Plus as a Wellness Advocate with doTerra Essential Oils I'm supporting a business that values sourcing in an ethical and sustainable way working with many developing countries as well as impacting positively on the end user.SHE MADE THIS(SMT) brings beautiful, innovative products to market and enables consumers to be part of positive change. We partner with artisans, celebrating and promoting their creativity to a discerning audience that appreciates design and values empowering people and protecting our wonderful planet. Our first partner is a World Fair Trade Accredited NGO in Bangladesh who I met during our time there and subsequently we have partnered with another WFTO accredited partner in Nepal. Show less

    • Thermomix in NZ

      Jul 2017 - Sept 2021
      Team Leader

Create & Thrive Co began late 2015 and blends my passions of healthy food, helping and inspiring people - at both ends of the supply chain. The makers through to those keen to be mindful of their consumption. She Made This is the social enterprise arm of Create & Thrive and evolved from a desire to contribute to developing countries. Empowering women in a sustainable way by supporting them economically. SMT curates natural, beautiful, ethical products that make a difference to people and the planet. For the conscious minded. My passion for empowering people with healthy eating options to improve health & wellbeing led me to becoming a consultant with Thermomix as it had made such a difference to the my everyday life. Last year I became a Team Leader to help set up a team of consultants in Auckland in response to the increasing interest and awareness of the capabilities of this amazing appliance which is like 12 appliances wrapped up in one convenient bundle. Reducing additives in our food because I can effortlessly whip up my own dips, curry pastes etc etc is exciting. I love the fact that I'm learning more and more on this journey. We all need to eat so it's great to make it pleasurable as well as healthy. Show less

      Founder - What's for Dinner - Plans & Prep

Imagine coming home each night, knowing what you're going to cook that night, and the next and the next...What's for Dinner Plans are Fun & flexible meal plans for Thermomix owners. Having said that you could use them as prompts and inspiration and use whatever kitchen appliances you like. Having a Thermomix makes cooking from scratch easily achievable. Why bother? - because your health matters. We are consuming too many additives and preservatives in the food we purchase.
