      As a CIO in Finnish Police Forces we builded up an IT service organization for Police Forces After two first years in Helsinki, the organization was moved to Rovaniemi in Lapland. We managed to move and start the operatons in Rovaniemi very succesfully. Also the amount of personnel increased from 50 to near 200. During 2002-2007 the organization diversified to offer services to other security organizations (e.g. Customs, Ministry of the Interior). After several organization changes, the unit continues as Police ICT Services (POL IT) and a part of State ICT services (VALTORI). Show less
