  Worked at a Central Tool Engineering Department on a project that aimed to reduce on-plant time wastage and safety hazards in manufacturing of automobiles.Designed a low weight cutter for machining of spring shackle on General Purpose Machine to reduceoperators fatigue and process downtime.Reduced the frequency of dismantling the insert for indexing from 5 days to 2 days.Reduced cutter weight by 24% and increased tool life by 60%.Made the design suitable for mass production and provided single solution to eliminate both the problems- operator fatigue and high downtime.Assisted with the on-plant troubleshooting and containment actions.
