  I started my career at BusinessWorld reporting about luxury for the award-winning monthly glossy High Life. In this role, I deepened my skills in interviewing C-suite executives of global brands such as Rolls-Royce, Louis Vuitton and Cartier, while covering everything that had to do with conspicuous consumption — from haute horlogerie to molecular gastronomy. When I was made Assistant Editor, I produced more work for the main broadsheet. Aside from editing articles, I also wrote for the political, corporate, and culture sections of the paper. Among my most important stories were my page-one report on the Best World Resources scandal, the biggest scandal in the Philippine Stock Exchange.From there, I moved up to SparkUp, a new title that aimed to target new audiences and ensure reader succession for the main broadsheet. As Multimedia Editor, I set its editorial direction, managing both the quarterly print and digital platforms. I led a small team of young, passionate editorial staff and represented the brand in events and in front of the press.My final project with BusinessWorld was its milestone annual report, the 31st Anniversary Report. In this role, I was the first to publish an anniversary report on both print and digital platforms, with over 100 pages in print and a parallax website which I helped design.   Based out of Singapore, I was involved in campaigns for the digital marketing arm of this PR agency that caters to clients access over 165 cities globally. Projects handled included the commodities information electronic direct mail (EDM) marketing strategy of S&P Global, which was rolled out across Asia; as well as a breast cancer awareness campaign of Roche for women in Singapore.In this role, I worked with the search marketing, technology and creative teams. This deepened my knowledge about using search engine optimization (SEO) and IT solutions to achieve the client's goals — whether awareness, lead generation, conversion or nurturing.
