      Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager my role within the South Zone office at Mayday Road Croydon included overall Project Management in every aspect. This involved managing all the various engineering disciplines within the project. My role also involves the management and reporting of costs throughout the project lifecycle. Other duties include:• Final end result of the construction within time/budget/to contract specification, applying the management system• To ensure contract is completed to meet group standards (subject to contract conditions)• Manage production of method statements, test plans and outline project specificationsThe projects that I had worked on were Network Rail Frame-Work Agreements, mostly cost plus and were minor enhancement works using Route Relay technology with associated works such as Civil, Telecoms, Electrification. I also worked on Network Rail Type B Projects, which was fixed price and using SSI technology. My other duties included Bid Management where necessary. I spent my first six months working as a Graduate OHLE Engineer on the Thameslink 2000 project. My main duties were progressing the Form A design to acceptance from the client. I also managed the survey requirements for the design team in Kirkby. Over the last 18 months of my graduate training I was working on the West Coast Modernisation Project. My role on the project was as a project engineer carrying out the following duties: Progressing all ITPS (Integrated Trackside Power Supply) designs to Approved for Construction through the Form A&B process. Developing implementation strategies for the system in line with the programme Assisting in Testing & Commissioning of the system Managing sub-contractors account Managing interface between design & construction Liaison with other disciplines e.g. Telecoms, Civil, and Signalling. My day to duties included :• Management of KPI’s• Assesment of various commercial aspects of work packages• Maintaing Project Programme• Co-ordination of supplier and installation contractors• Establishing and maintaintaing relationship with key stakeholders.The portfolio had a contract value of £35 million.
