Research and preparation of records from all sources due to excellent knowledge of RiO, IAPTus, microfilm systems.• Provide a courteous, professional and helpful service to staff, patients and other applicants by telephone and/or email, being mindful of the sensitive nature of information being handled. • Cover for colleagues, take accurate messages and assist in the smooth running of the Information Services Team in the absence of other members of staff. • Create and maintain a record of, and process requests for, access to medical records, such as subject access, third party and internal requests in accordance with Policy (local and national) timescales, ensuring compliance to the DPA 2018, GDPR and other relevant legislation.Achievements: Managed to create a process that could allow transfer of data from a 30 year old 16 bit database application to newer formats in order to help with the organization’s digital transformation project. The database contained the microfilm reference numbers for 245902 records of patients. This would keep the data accessible after the transition to Windows 10 64 bit that discontinue support of 16 bit applications. Show less
