  Activities and Societies: I was selected as mentor for third year Informatics students during the process of completing their final capstone project. I was very fortunate to study an undergraduate degree that I thoroughly enjoyed, which set me up for a career in IT. BCom Informatics at the University of Pretoria in South Africa is a multi-faceted degree that equips its students to bridge the gap between software engineering and commerce. I tackled every diverse subject (from Economics, to Statistics and Software Programming) with rigor and graduated in both my Bachelor’s and Honours degrees at the top of my class.
