  Lead WTG load engineer on the monopile foundation design for an offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea.Deliverables included:∙ Input for early design for tender processes∙ Input for WTG procurement, incl. studies on possible savings from various turbine upgrades/configurations∙ Design bases incl. metocean site assessment and load design basis∙ Integrated load analysis and design iterations with turbine manufacturer∙ Complete certified foundation load package in accordance with relevant standards∙ Various load deliverables incl. wave run-up, cyclic loads, and ice loading on secondary structuresIn addition to the formal deliverables, the following work was carried out:∙ Integrated load analysis using in-house aero-hydro-servo-elastic tool, incl. sea ice load modelling∙ Sea ice parameter study serving as basis for the final sea ice load case setup∙ Design iterations with primary structures designer from early to detailed design∙ Ship impact analysis using time-domain load-response tool∙ Support on the OSS monopile foundation designFinally, the role involved considerable stakeholder management across a range of scopes and disciplines:∙ Foundation design package incl. certification body∙ Energy yield and wind farm layout design∙ Wind turbine procurement scope∙ Wind turbine manufacturer∙ Installation scope Show less
